Welcome to the Avondale Stores Limited website. Avondale is
happy to announce more than 40 years in the convenience store business.
Operating under the banners of Avondale Food Stores, Avonmart, Dollar Mart,
Stewart’s Farm Market, Stewart’s Market Place, The Ninety-Eight Cent Store and
Regional Recycling of Niagara, we are pleased to serve the Niagara Peninsula
from Fort Erie to Ancaster with over 120 locations.
Our stores offer a variety of services such as faxing, photocopying, phone
cards, Western Union Money Orders and Money Transfers, ABM Service, a varied
selection of grocery items at low prices, coffee, slush and many other
convenience items.

Festivals and events
Lion’s 3rd Annual Journey for Sight
Start Date: Saturday, May 7, 2005
Time: 8:00a.m.
The goal of the journey is to organize groups of caring community members
throughout Ontario to raise money for the visually challenged. The Journey for
Sight “George Hostick Ride/Walk” registration will be held on Saturday, May 7th
at the Port Dalhousie Lions Center, 201 Main St., St. Catharines, Ontario
starting at 8:00 a.m. with the riders leaving at 9:00 a.m. While the Ride
Journey is 40km in length, riders do not need to complete the entire route. New
this year is a 5km or 10km walk. Registration is at 9:00 a.m., with the walkers
leaving at 10:00 a.m. Pledge sheets and route maps are available at Avondale
Stores in the Niagara area. Food and beverage will be available to all riders
and walkers during their journey and at the completion of the ride or walk.
Riders and walkers that raise $100 or more will receive a free t-shirt at the
time of registration. Journey for Sight incentive awards are listed in the
Journey for Sight brochure.
